Debit Interest Rates
The Account is to be operated in credit. Should, for any reason, the account be overdrawn, debit interest of 3.75% p.a. over the Bank’s base rate (currently 2.25% p.a.) shall be charged unless mentioned otherwise.
Penalty Debit Interest
An additional penalty interest will apply as specified in our Tariff of Charges. Refer to Tariff of Charges on overdraft excesses, encroachments and loan/one-account arrears. www.apsbank.com.mt/tariff-of-charges
Debit interest charged on debit balances is calculated daily and is deducted from the Account on charging dates, currently twice yearly in June and December.
